Next Lecture - Banksy - A to Z of Street Artists
Due to illness we have changed the lecturer but not the subject of our next lecture on 3rd September. It will now be Tate Modern Guide Ray Warburton who has been an Arts Society lecturer since 2017 taking us through Banksy's varied artworks from A to Z.

Bitesize Event - St Martin in the Bull Ring Guided Visit

A guided visit to St Martin in the Bull Ring has been organised for Wednesday 9th September. A church has been on this site since the 13th century and during this visit you will see Minton tiles, a Burne Jones stained glass window and the oldest monument in Birmingham as well as finding out about its long history and current charitable work. Bitesize Event - Cannon Hill Park Guided Walk

Bitesize Event - Christmas Concert at Symphony Hall
A new bitesize event is now available to book - a lunchtime christmas concert at the symphony hall on monday 7th December. Featuring christmas music from the renowned bIRMINGHAM city Organist Thomas Trotter and the Choir of St Johns College Cambridge. Need to book by end of September. TASBE's full 2026 programme of talks for 2026 has been finalised and is available to view on the lecture section of this website. The full 2026 programme will contain nine evening talks as usual covering the whole range of the performing arts ensuring there is something for everyone in there.
